Wikipedia API – Intro to AJAX

We’ve got two out of our three asynchronous requests working. Let’s get some Wikipedia articles about the page to show up. We’re on the MediaWiki API page, because Wikipedia is run by MediaWiki, and looking through this page, you’ll actually find you don’t need an API key. However, making normal JSON requests to Wikipedia would result in a cross origin or a cross-site error, because Wikipedia servers forbid cross origin requests. Webinar: Entrez Direct (EDirect) Part 2 of 4, PubMed Author Sorting

The way I will do this is talk about the example and the strategy first. Then we will go to the command line. The first one is — I have a bunch of PubMed articles and I would like to know who are the most prolific authors. I would like to take all the authors on those publications and sort them by the number of times they appear in the citation list. How do we do that? We need to be able to find where this information is. I tried to blow up a piece of the XML that you will actually get back from a PubMed record. This is…

LEGO Spider Mech vs. Venom set review! 76115

What is the ideal length of a SEO-friendly Article? | SEO COURSE 2020 【Lesson #25】

I often read articles about SEO with phrases like “you must write at least 1000 words”. This indication certainly has a shareable basis, but it can be a bit misleading. As you might imagine, one of the most frequent questions I receive is: how long should an article be? The answer? Well, there is no predefined number and there is a specific reason! If I had, for example, a website where I show the weather forecasts of the various American cities day by day, would it make sense to write 1000 words, for a reader who is simply looking to know “what’s the weather like tomorrow in New York”? Obviously,…
