(Tomo’s mother came to meet us at the station!) (Deciding on what to have for dinner.) (And baby Tomo is sitting in my lap.) ‘Mandarins!’ ‘Do you want mandarins? Or strawberries?’ (We’re going grocery shopping together!) Why are you wearing a mask? I used to work here. Nobody is interested in you. But it bothers me. -Did you get in trouble a lot here?
-Uh, no? -Something with hot broth is the best in the winter.
-Something warm! Of course~ Tonight’s dinner menu is sukiyaki~~~~ Thukiyaki~ thukiyaki~ ‘Should we get two konjac noodles?’ ‘Should we get two? You love them.’ I can just sit back and watch. I want some snacks. We have dessert at home. But you said that’s ice cream. ‘Am I in heaven?’ ‘Oh, I love these.’ -‘There’s so many different kinds.’
-‘What should I get~’ (The grocery store was in the holiday spirit.) ‘These have to be good.’ ‘We need to eat strawberries in the winter.’ That’s true. (On our way home.) ‘Excuse us~’ ‘Come in, come on~’ (He’s suddenly organizing his shoes.) -‘You don’t normally do that…’
-‘Take yours off too.’ -‘Out of nowhere?’
-‘It’s not out of nowhere. It’s our house’s rule.’ ‘Liar. I’ve never seen you do that before.’ (Tomo’s mother usually cooks for us when I come over.) (But we’ll be cooking today!) -‘Have you made this before?’
-Huh? No. -‘Do you know how to cut it up?’
-Yeah, sure. ‘Did you look it up?’ Do you know how many veggies I’ve cut up in my life? ‘At your part-time job?’ At my job, and… -‘…and?’
-‘And?’ -‘And what?’
-“And what?’ I cook for Yuin every day at home. ‘Aren’t they a little big?’ -Having fun?
-Cooking is fun. You’ve got a vibe going. Is there anything for me to help out with? Something you can help with? Nope. Okay, then~ Nothing~ I know~ Leave the cooking to your man. (I could get into this.) I’ll show you what happiness tastes like. It’s my first time trying sukiyaki. So I’ll show you some Japanese hospitality and make it for you. -Can I have one?
-‘No.’ I wanna eat these strawberry Chocopie things. ‘The second you eat one, I’m gonna eat your share of the meat.’ ‘Got it?’ -I’m fine with that.
-‘Oh, okay.’ I’ll just have one. (It’s good! I need to give Tomo a bite.) Chopping onions is my specialty. I’ve probably chopped at least a hundred onions in my life. Probably two or three-hundred. -‘You chopped them at work.’
-At work and cooking for you. (Tomo tries to make the veggies look pretty.) (And the dish his mother prepared is almost ready.) (Tomo made a mistake and his mother is fixing it.) (This is not a freeze frame.) (Pour in some oil and then add the meat~) (Stir-fry the meat a bit.) (Add in some sukiyaki sauce.) (Add the veggies and it’s done!) (Tomo won’t give up on making it look pretty.) (And we add a lot of konjac noodles.) Thank you~ -I enjoyed the meal!
-Don’t you mean ‘itadakimasu’? (The chikuzenni Tomo’s mother made for us.) What the heck? This is so good. This is so wicked good. Try the carrots. How can carrots be this good? Hey, you should learn to cook. -‘Wicked, right?’
-‘Wait, the steam…’ ‘Woah, woah, woah~’ (Apparently you dip it in egg?) You can crack it with one hand too? So can I. This is for you~ Oh, hot! Time to dig in~ The meat is so soft. Yum! It’s my first time eating something like this. Hey, that’s my water. (Tomo sloppily drinking my water.) The konjac noodles are so good…) You’re already full? I’m full but I can finish it. Why am I so full? Because you ate those snacks! Snacks! Now do you understand why I always say not to snack before dinner? (Welcoming the meat.) Don’t pour it in like BOOM. Just drizzle a little. Around. (Splash, splash…) (Timid…) -Is this enough?
-You need more. You said don’t pour it in like BOOM. (I can’t cook because I can’t control the amount of ingredients…) -I’m so full… I’m so hungry, I wanna eat… I mean I wanna sleep. It’s the best to fill up and go to sleep… What is that sound? And what should we follow up a delicious dinner with? Ice cream. Ice cream~ We need to go gobble up the ice cream. ‘Get back to cleaning up.’ ‘Tell them about this.’ What was it…? ‘Korea!’ ‘You were taking your luggage out and hit your head and made a hole the day before you came to Korea.’ Did I say that? -‘You don’t remember?’
-I don’t… ‘Come on, that’s a cute memory.’ ‘If that wasn’t there, we would’ve never met…!’ No, that’s not… Mistress Yuin, dessert is prepared. (Does anyone out there remember this delicious combination?) (Tonight’s dessert is pineapple.) (Sweet potatoes.) ‘And put the vanilla ice cream in!’ (Now it’s time to try the long-awaited delicious combo…) That’s cold… (It makes you applaud.) -So friggin good. Seriously good.
-Wicked good. (Look at me.)
(Busy eating.) (Cutiepie.) (Cutiepie + my baby go together at a set.) (He said he was too full to move, and he’s just…like that…) Save me… Now I’m in Tomo’s room. It’s cold… I usually just watch TV in here, or eat some snacks… (This is how I live my life.) (It’s all over my mouth…sorry…) ‘Look at your face. What are you eating?’ What are you eating? -It’s so cold…
(Japanese houses are too cold…)
-Let me warm you up. Cold…too cold… Turn the heater on for me… (Our new hobby is watching popular Korean dramas.)
‘Hey, it’s me.’ Want one? No… I’m stuffed. (I’m not giving it to him so we can get fat together. Sharing is part of Korean culture!) These are my pajamas, though? (It was so natural, you didn’t even notice.) (Tomo is trying to copy my lips and make a square.) (Brush, brush~) Japanese toothpaste doesn’t really foam up… (You need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste to Japan.) (If we hear a song, it’s in our head all day.) (You can’t tell what song it is, right? It’s ‘Cherry’ by yui. Tomo is taking a shower. I usually shower in the morning, so I’ll erase my makeup. ‘Wait, I forgot my towel.’ [Speaking Korean]
Tomo is~ going to the shower~ Sleep tight~ (First I remove my eyebrows and lip product with eye remover.) (POND’s eye remover is mild and erases my makeup really well! And they sell it at Olive Young!) (I use a cleansing tissue for the first round!) (I used to use BIODERMA’s cleansing water when it was in Korea, and it was way better!)
I think cleansing water is better than these tissues. I heard that these cleansing tissues weren’t that good for you. (I’ve just been lazy lately and using the tissues ^^;;) So I’ve erased all of my makeup. Tomo is going crazy in the shower. He should just hurry up and get out. A Wild Tomo Appears! These are the pajamas that Yuin got me! -You look like a little kid.
-I wear them every day. (Tomo spends 20 minutes drying his hair…) (I’m lazy so I air dry my hair, and maybe blow out the roots…) I have a sensitive scalp, so if there’s any water, I break out. So I dry my hair with fervor. Cutie~ Please stop~ -Look at this cute forehead~ Cute~
-What about me? What about me? I always finish blow drying my hair with cold air after. That’s a tip for people who want their hair to look soft! If I don’t do this, I can’t wash my face. And this little chick~ This looks like a woman’s hairstyle from the 80s. (He’s pretending to be a chick.) (He’d fit right in in the movie Sunny.) -Now we’re going to…
-Start filming out video~ For face wash, this! (I said it goes into focus if he covers his eyes, and look at him now.) I got this when I had had a lot of blackheads and enlarged pores because they said it’s good. I’ll use some now. -Cutie~
-OW! It went in my eyes! (I just wanna tease him more.) Yuin’s face wash tip! You guys usually wipe off all the water after you wash your face, right. But they said not wiping off all the water is good. We just washed our faces and they’re dry now. So we’ll use some toner on our faces now. I got this from SIDMOOL too. I got this for dealing with my blackheads and pores because they said it’s good. I think it’s good. Get a cotton pad… [Counting in Korean] We go like that and wipe our faces. I used to just be whatever about my skin care before I met Yuin. I saw Yuin taking care of her skin and I started to copy her. I just dab it on and I’m done. He just finished his skin care with toner. I used toner for my entire routine. Then up next is… And now after the toner~ In Korea, it’s popular to do “1 face pack a day”. But it can be a bit much to do that every day. This is a Korean product, and it’s not too expensive. So it’s good for using once or twice a week, or before a special event. I gave it to Tomo. I didn’t know this was a face pack when I first saw it. -The pink and blue have different effects.
-I saw that. Pink is whitening and moist…moistur… (Can’t prounounce it in Japanese…)
Moisturizing. So it’s good for people with dry skin. This little blue guy is good for skin trouble. If you have some pimples or break outs. It’s good for people like that. So let’s get into it. Just go soft, like this… Look, guys! -We put it on and didn’t do anything and it’s foaming up.
-The bubbles just appear. It got really excited the first time I used it. These bubbles massage your skin, so they say it’s good. The bubbles slowly disappear, but it feels really interesting. It’s kind of like soda slowly going flat… (Can you hear it…?) It’s like poppoppoppop… I have kind of sensitive skin, but this feels really mild. -Maybe that’s why they put it in this baby’s bottle packaging…
-Is that why?! Because it’s so mild? I saw this when I went to K-town and last time when we went to Osaka. -It was really memorable, though.
-Yeah, it’s hard to forget. So it might seem like we need to wash it off, but you just massage it into your skin after about three minutes. I think it’s really convenient for a face pack to be done in three minutes. I’m already done! It’s super moisturizing. I think it’s especially perfect for the winter. A lot of people were asking me how I take care of my lips. This is what I use. Vaseline! -Do we have this in Japan.
-Probably. I’ve used a lot of different lip balms, and I haven’t found anything as good as Vaseline. I mentioned it on a live stream, and people said it lightens your lip color. I think it’s gotten lighter. Lip balm? I’ve never used it before. (He said he hates having sticky lips.)
I hate it. I don’t like how it feels. I can’t. So this is basically how we take care of our skin. How was it, guys? I’m totally bare-faced right now… You guys finally get to see Yuin’s bare face! -After so long…
-I don’t know if I’ll cry when I edit this… So now it’s almost time for bed~ -We’re going to…
-It’s already 1 AM. play with our phones a bit. I’m gonna play a soccer game. So we’ll head to bed now. Then we’ll see you guys in the next video!
