    Hi. I’m Deb Benkovitz Williams, President of the American Music Therapy Association. On behalf of the Board of AMTA, we recognize the impact that COVID-19 is having on the world, and more specifically, on the entire music therapy community including professionals, music therapy interns, and students. The World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic, and we are facing unavoidable cancellations of conferences and, in too many circumstances, our clinical practice. Our ability to work has been challenged, and as a result, has a tremendous impact on the clients we serve.
